This was recorded at a fundraising event in Manchester where the local BBC radio were present doing segments for the Phil and Gail show I've tried to tidy up this very noisy recording which had crowd noise in the background and lots of radio compression on it too. You can hear what's going on. At that time, Terry Wogan was still presenting Eurovision, and the pope was had a shady relation with Nazism in the past.

Beautiful Girl in a ComaOriginalStudio
I'm not sure I was smart enough to have been parodying "Girlfriend in a Coma". This was a song I put together in my studio because I wanted to make something. It's a bit dark and some of the language hasn't aged well, but it's also written "in character" from someone whose values I never shared. I was definitely channeling both Bowie and the Conchords in some of the delivery.
